What Has Pat Povilaitis Been Up To?

Dear Friend,

When Pat "Human Vise" Povilaitis and Dennis "Last of the Old-Time Strongmen" Rogers hooked up for their first strength feats DVD, the results were explosive. There were feats on that DVD that are still making people shake their heads in amazement. "I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes" is what they all say.

Now, after the shock has (only slightly) worn off, the people want to know what's next on the horizon for Pat Povilaitis.

Pat is currently in "top secret" training mode. For what, you may ask? Pat has refused all interviews and will not tell anyone just what exactly what he is currently training for. We do know, however that Pat was recently invited to perform some of his unique strength feats for the Villanova Unversity Football Team.

We were lucky enough to have Pat send us a few shots from that performance and a few more from some of his adventures. We are going to keep these explanations short and sweet but quite honestly, the pics don't do Pat any justice. The only way to truly understand what Pat Povilaitis is capable of is to see what he can do in person...of course, he also doesn't perform for just anybody either...check it out:

Pat Povilaitis bends a #5 horseshoe.
Pat Povilaitis bends a #5 horseshoe
Pat's specialty is combo feats. He routinely performs several unusual feats of strength at once. Most strong men could not perform these feats individually, let along simultaneously.

Here we find Pat hanging a 200+ pound (personalized, I might add)engine block on the back of head while bending a huge #5 draft horseshoe. Before this, he had already lifted the engine block by his head to the front, tore 56 Bicycle cards with his arms out front and hung 45lb padlocks from his elbows while bending 6.5" X .316" drill rod. That is intense!

Did you know that in addition to his steel bending prowess, Pat also has an iron jaw?

Here we find him hanging a kettlebell in his teeth while bending a 12" X 3/8" spike, bending a #4 horseshoe into heart shape, rolling a 8" fry pan, rolling a 10" fry pan around the 8 inch fry pan and finishing up with bending another #5 draft shoe. Whew!

Pat is easily one of the strongest stone lifters ever. Pat routinely lifts stones which outweigh him by nearly 100 pounds. Here we find him with a 250 lb. round stone in his lap.

After he lifted this stone to his chest, he twice removed one hand each time at the top, settled down into the crouched position seen here and bent a tough 7" X .323" drill rod with the stone in his lap! This bend was even tougher than the last one.

Cougar Trap!!
Cougar Trap!!
Yes, that is a cougar trap. I'm not going to say what happened next but we tried to talk him out of it...

Pat received two, (well-earned) monster standing ovations from the Villanova football team. If that doesn't get the Wildcats fired up this season, nothing will.

So there was Pat, wandering around the Budweiser plant in
Jacksonville, Florida and what did he find? I'm guessing
he won't be bending that one but you never can tell...
(Nice shirt Pat!)

These are a couple shots from the New York Giants shindig that Pat performed at a few months back. You probably heard Pat talking about it on the 336 of Fury Audio Seminar CDs. Brian "World's Strongest Chef" Mottola looks on. How about those forearms?

What's next? Only Pat knows for sure...I do know one thing, this is the place where you'll hear about it first!

Train hard.
